Vaudeville are a four piece alternative rock band hailing from Newcastle. The band consists of Dan Runchel on lead vocals and bass, Jae Nelson on drums, guitarist Jarrod McAuley and Chris English on keys and backing vocals. A chance meeting between Jae and songwriter Jarrod sparked the beginnings of the band, which grew with the addition of Chris. After a couple of months searching for a vocalist, Dan was finally recruited as the bass player and frontman they needed.

Their sound draws influence from bands such as The Foo Fighters, Ween, Karnivool, David Bowie and The Police, combined with keyboards, hooks, vocal harmonies and lots of volume.

Since hitting the live scene August 2007, Vaudeville have already lined up support slots alongside many of their favourite Australian bands, including GRINSPOON, COG, THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, BIRDS OF TOKYO, MAMMAL and TRIAL KENNEDY.

Vaudeville are currently on the road supporting their debut self titled EP which they released in February 2008.
